Achieving a New Year resolution: Hardworking alone not enough
In 2016, Kate and Lucy each planned to publish a novel. Kate started out completely focusing on the goal. She carried out an extensive research, compiling every information concerning her topic. When she was not catering to her family, she spent her free time to writing. Eventually, she got overwhelmed and stopped. By March, her New Year resolution ended unaccomplished.
