Thanks to Amazon’s flexible return policy, it’s easy to get a refund for your returned item, or even change the item for a different one.
Processing an item for return to Amazon is pretty simple. More so if the item in question is new and unopened. Just make sure to complete the process with Amazon within 30 days of delivery. By following their guideline, it is possible to receive a full refund as well. Amazon also puts into consideration seasonal factors that may delay returning an item, but it’s always better to confirm.
You might be wondering when you will get your refund if you apply for that? Well it usually takes about 2-3 weeks. Although most refunds are completed in 3-5 days after Amazon receive and process your return.
1. Click the “Return Items” button. It will take you to a list of your recently purchased item.
2. From that list check the item you want to return.
3. Look at the right side of the screen to select a reason why you want to return the item. A box will appear after you have selected a reason. In that box explain your reason in more details.
When available, Amazon provides the option for a Pickup. If you are eligible for that option click the pickup option, confirm your address and Amazon will send someone to come pick up the item at a specified time.
In case the Pickup option is not available, then you will have to neatly package the item and mail it back to a designated address.
